Deposits
When renting a car from DL Rent, a refundable deposit is required – this is an amount that is temporarily held for the duration of the rental period as a guarantee that the terms of the contract are met and to cover, if needed:
• additional costs such as fines, missing fuel or damage outside the scope of the insurance;
• late return of the car;
• breaches of the usage rules (e.g. smoking in the car, returning it with an excessively dirty interior, etc.).
